I saw the cartoon years ago (big Calvin and Hobbes fan). Recently, this was posted on Greg Mankiw's Blog and it reminded me of how much I enjoy Calvin and Hobbes cartoons.
Mike Gumpper, Professor of Economics @ Millersville University
I am a professor of economics at MU, one of the state system universities in Pennsylvania. I am also the director of the Center for Economic Education. In my role as professor, I teach microeconomics, environmental economics, and public finance. As the director of the CEE, I help k-12 teachers learn how to teach economics and finance. My passion is economics and helping people understand the economic way of thinking.
Bill Gumpper, Teacher @ Fabius-Pompey High School
I am a high school teacher at Fabius-Pompey High School, just outside of Syracuse, New York. I teach senior-level social studies classes, which include AP Microeconomics, Economics, and Government/Civics. I am interested in the relationship between economic decision making and social behavior. I also enjoy examining monetary policy, as well as the relationship between economics and environmental awareness.
